It’s Not Goodbye, It’s C U Next Tuesday But From Another City

There are few things more precious in this world than lady friends. I can’t count the number of times that Taylor and I have sat on my couch, or at a bar, or atop a wooden box with a hole cut in it at a Korean spa getting our vaginas steamed, and talked about how fucking lucky we feel to be women who are aware of the complexity of their feelings and capable of verbalizing and expressing them to one another in a meaningful way. And yeah, I’ve been drinking some Prosecco tonight, and I’m feeling sentimental, and this is going to be mush because I’m moving back up north this weekend and holy shit I’m already missing my boo Taylorrrrrr. <insert James Van Der Beek crying gif here>

But here’s the thing, you guys. Taylor and I have made it through me ruining her hair for literal years. We’ve made it through our apartment being broken into by a meth head (WHILE WE WERE IN IT), an ogre upstairs neighbor who called the police on us for closing our kitchen cabinets after 9pm, two of the most hellacious roommates you could ever imagine, and you know what else? We’ve made it through living in separate cities before, and by god we can do it again.

So, Β yes. It’s going to be a total bummer not living in the same place anymore, but luckily the lady friend bond is strong, y’all. So this week is dedicated to celebrating the important things in life and loving your people fiercely, whoever they are, because the world is full of too much bullshit to go it alone.

Know what’s totally not bullshit though?? THESE PICS. ENJOY.

Thanks for stopping by this week, go hug a bestie, and we’ll C U Next Tuesday (from separate cities 😭)!
